Clay has written some new material and plans on starting work on a 2011 release in the near future. Come out and see Clay and Mark on a regular basis to hear some of the best tunes written in the Houston scene.

Acclaimed Houston singer/songwriter has announced that he will return to the Houston music scene after a hiatus to "recharge his batteries and get the creative juices flowing again".

He starts his return with a couple of solo performances in the Houston area before starting to rehearse with his band and go out to play again.

Clay Farmer is set to release his follow-up to the highly acclaimed "LIVE at the Armadillo Palace, Part I" album on August 22nd 2008. The second part of his show will be released as "LIVE at the Armadillo Palace, Part II" and will include some more of his fan favorites and trademark tunes.

To celebrate the release of this album, Clay has already hired the same group of musicians that played on the recording to make this a very special night for everybody. Brian Thomas on pedal steel guitar and Randy Wall on keyboards will provide all the lead work, while the White Lion Rhythm Section of Joe DeLeon on drums and Robert DiBlanco on bass will provide a steady backbone to Clay's well crafted tunes.

For obvious reasons the release party will be held at the Armadillo Palace, one of Houston's premier venues for live Country Music and a great place to eat outstanding food and enjoy a cold beverage.

Make sure to mark your calendars for this event - it'll be a helluva night to be a part of.
